Time to re-up with Nike
It’s been quite, quite the year of branding design. How are you? I’ve been designing steady for a boutique agency in Los Angeles called Infinity Marketing, all through my partners at the bench.
This week brings a new challenge of designing a pitch to the one and only Nike. Let’s do it! I mean, just do it!
Workin' for the city
As new campaigns roll out around developing Colorado, I’ve partnered with Greenlight Strategy to design new brand identities for several campaigns. Here’s a look at the latest for the city of Westminster, Colorado.
Greenlight Strategy x studiojeffrey
A look at the brand identity package that I just finished designing for Greenlight Strategy. Based here in Colorado, Greenlight is a new public affairs agency, specializing in “helping land use project move forward”.
The design brief was to keep a simple, relatable and approachable feel to the branding marks. All while inspiring stuck companies to “Go, Go, Go with Greenlight”! The icon is designed to bring about a quick sense of “a trusted partner” who will “flow through the traffic jams” to get your project done.
In the “before and after” above, you can see the design solution is a soft shaped, upper case “G” based on the brand’s typeface, Barlow Semi Condensed. This helps to connect the straight forward wordmark with the icon. The color palette is updated to be a high contrast of dark and light greens.
As this company get's going, stay tuned for new work from Greenlight Strategy, and be sure to check out their new website. Congrats on your new venture, Bill!
studiojeffrey & Wasserman
A thrill, doesn’t even begin to describe how it feels to be designing with the pros at Wasserman. Team Wass is a global sports, music and culture agency. We are developing designs for sports logos. Thank you to everyone at Wasserman for being beyond professional and fun to work with.
Designer Wisdom
So we don’t forget where we came from, I will be adding “Designer Wisdom” to the site. Leading the way is my favorite designer of all time, Paul Rand. He said, “Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple, that’s why it is so complicated”.
